Lake Group was established by its founding CEO and Chairman Mr. Ally Edha
Awadh in 2006 with the opening of its flagship Company 'Lake Oil' with a very
humble beginning. Since inception the growth story of Lake Group was vertical
and has become one of the fastest growing energy trading, logistics and
construction supply material Conglomerate in East and Central Africa and Middle
East.
Over the years, Lake Group has successfully ventured into various business
activities covering Downstream Oil & Gas sector, Logistics Solutions, Manufacturing
& construction Industries Like Steel, Lubricants and Premix Concrete, Port extension
services like Inland Container Depots.
Lake Group distributes and trades white Petroleum products in Tanzania, Zambia,
DRC, Burundi, Kenya,Ethiopia and Rwanda; owns its own oil storage facilities in
Tanzania, Kenya, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo; manufactures
lubes and Ready Mix Concrete, and operates a fleet of more than 700 trucks.
As an MNC, with its headquarters in Dar Es’ Salaam, Tanzania, Lake Group
provides quality products and Services of daily consumption in a safe, efficient and
cost-effective manner without damaging the environment.
With its uncompromising standards of excellence, Lake Group is geographically
spread across all over East and Central Africa with one of its largest Premix Plant is
located in Dubai.
The Group is having diverse mix of 21 nationalities with a total work force of 4600
Plus employees of various caliber.
